Quite frankly, this is the very event that grabbed the interest of Jeff and Jason to venture into competition barbecue. We spent 6 hours there walking around in 2010….not including the time spent in the lot with Jason’s car’s tricky ignition. We walked out of there and damn well knew we’d doing it soon.
Another somewhat ‘local’ event, featuring one of the best and largest fields on the east coast. This KCBS sanctioned competition coincides with a charity bike run/bike show, and is set in the heart of farm country. Good for all ages with music throughout the day Saturday.
